Family Dollar worker charged with attempted murder after shooting shoplifter multiple times.

An employee at a Family Dollar store in Arizona was arrested for shooting a shoplifter who punched him in the face when asked to leave. The worker, Kevin Salas Madrid, allegedly shot the suspect 10 times, even as he lay on the floor. The victim was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries. Madrid was charged with attempted murder and other counts. He later told police he did not see if the man had any weapons and admitted to making the "worst decision of his life."
