Fatal Accident at Volkswagen Plant in Tennessee Leaves One Dead and Two Injured.

A Volkswagen employee was killed and two others were injured after being struck by a car driven by Jason Thornton, who has been charged with vehicular homicide by recklessness, failure to operate with due care, reckless driving, felony reckless endangerment, and speeding. The incident occurred on a walkway near the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, and all involved were Volkswagen employees. Production at the plant has been canceled, and the investigation is ongoing.
