Fatal Hit-and-Run on I-84 Claims Life of Driver

A man who got out of his car after a wrong-way crash on Interstate 84 in East Hartford was struck and killed by an impaired driver who fled the scene. The driver, identified as 21-year-old Ileaha Porter, was later arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The victim, Westley Clemente-Fuentes, was pronounced dead at the hospital, while his two passengers were unharmed. Police are asking for witnesses or anyone with dashboard camera footage to come forward.
