Fatal Shooting and Crash on Indy's East Side Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured

One man was killed and another was injured in a shooting on Interstate 70 in Indianapolis. The incident occurred early Saturday morning and the victims were found in a crashed car near 21st Street and Emerson Avenue. Indiana State Police are investigating the shooting and have not determined if it was road rage related or targeted. This is the 11th shooting on Indianapolis area interstates this year, and troopers have investigated 53 incidents of road rage where a gun was displayed or pointed but no shots were fired.
