Fatal Shooting at Walmart in Lauderdale Lakes Leaves One Dead.

A man was shot and killed in front of his family at a Walmart in Lauderdale Lakes while trying to break up a physical altercation between a female employee and the shooter, identified as 22-year-old Tironie Shavar Sterling. The victim, Thierry Bastien, was shot six times and died at the scene. Sterling, who was not working at the time, was arrested and denied bond. Bastien's girlfriend described him as a hero and an amazing father. A GoFundMe page has been created to help with funeral expenses.
