Fatal shooting in Florida sparked by thrown beer can.

A man in Florida allegedly threw a beer can at a passing dune buggy, leading to a confrontation with the driver. The man, identified as Wallace Mannin Kirkland, allegedly shot the driver in the chest with a semi-automatic pistol, killing him. Witnesses reported that the victim was unarmed and physically smaller than Kirkland and his neighbor. Kirkland was arrested and charged with manslaughter and aggravated battery, but was released on a $40,000 bond and is still permitted to carry a firearm until he is convicted.
