Fatal Shooting Outside Birmingham Club Leaves One Dead.

A 25-year-old man named Ryan Colby Johnson was shot and killed outside Empire nightclub in Birmingham in an exchange of gunfire. An off-duty police officer working as security at the club heard the shots and found Johnson unresponsive outside a vehicle. Johnson was taken to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made, and this marks Birmingham's 37th homicide in 2023.
