Fatal Wreck and Police Chase Cause Closure of South Third Street

Two people are dead after a car chase that started in Mississippi and ended in a fatal one-vehicle crash on South Third Street in Memphis. DeSoto County authorities pursued a white Nissan Maxima with two males wearing ski masks, but the chase was terminated before the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
