Father Identified as Suspect in Decades-Old Sibling Murder Case in Arkansas

Police have identified Weldon Alexander as the suspect in the 1981 murder of his two children, Gordon and Karen Alexander, in Arkansas. The father, who died in 2014, was found to have left his semen on Karen's bedding. The case was reopened in 2022, and DNA evidence extracted from the siblings' fingernail tissue confirmed his involvement. It is believed that Weldon attacked his daughter to rape her, and when his son tried to defend her, both children were stabbed. The case cannot proceed further as the suspect is deceased.
