FBI Shoots and Kills Man During Minneapolis Standoff

An armed man, Chue Feng Yang, who was sought in connection to a carjacking warrant, was shot and killed by an FBI agent in Minneapolis after a several-hour standoff. Yang was livestreaming the situation on Facebook, carrying a sawed-off shotgun, and threatening to set off bombs if agents entered the home. The FBI agents determined Yang posed a threat to his girlfriend, who was tied to him with a bedsheet, and lethal force was necessary to protect her life. Yang's girlfriend was treated at the scene for a possible fentanyl overdose.
