Federal Indictment Targets DC Drug and Gun Trafficking Ring

Twelve alleged members of the Kennedy Street Crew, a violent drug trafficking organization, were arrested on charges including drug trafficking, possession of firearms, assault with a deadly weapon, and money laundering. The group operated open-air drug markets in the Kennedy Street neighborhood of Northwest Washington D.C. and used firearms, including fully automatic weapons, to enforce and protect their territory. Law enforcement seized multiple firearms and drugs during the arrests. The investigation was sponsored and supported by the federal Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF).
