Florida Dentist's Mother Arrested in Connection to Murder-for-Hire of FSU Professor

Donna Adelson, the mother of a Florida dentist who was recently convicted of first-degree murder in a high-profile case, has been arrested for allegedly orchestrating the murder-for-hire of her ex-son-in-law, a Florida State University law professor. Adelson was apprehended at Miami International Airport as she and her husband were about to board a flight to Dubai and Vietnam. She is accused of arranging the 2014 killing of the professor, who was shot in the head in his Tallahassee garage. Adelson's son, Dr. Charlie Adelson, was convicted last week for his involvement in the murder.
