Florida high school softball star paralyzed after ex-boyfriend stabs her 15 times.

A Florida high school softball star, Madison Schemitz, was stabbed 15 times by her ex-boyfriend, Spencer Ross Pearson, while dining with her mother at a restaurant. Pearson had been stalking and harassing Schemitz since their breakup in April. He also slashed Schemitz's mother and a good Samaritan who tried to intervene. Pearson then slit his own throat and is in critical condition. Schemitz suffered damage to her spinal cord and is temporarily paralyzed. Pearson is charged with two counts of first-degree attempted premeditated murder and one count of aggravated battery.
