Florida Man Convicted of Murdering Wife for Rejecting Reality TV Appearance

A Florida man, David Tronnes, has been convicted of first-degree murder for killing his wife, Shanti Cooper-Tronnes, following a dispute over whether they should appear on a home-renovation TV show. Tronnes had spent money on renovations in hopes of being featured on "Zombie House Flipping," but his wife declined to participate, leading to arguments. Cooper-Tronnes was beaten and strangled to death in their Orlando home, and Tronnes attempted to clean up the crime scene before police arrived. He has been sentenced to life in prison.
