Three men in Florida, identified as Jeffry Arista, Jonathan Arista, and Raymond Gomez, have been charged with federal kidnapping, waterboarding, and torturing a man, despite knowing he was not their intended target. The victim was approached by the men, who brandished a firearm and forced him into a car with police lights. After realizing their mistake, the kidnappers brainstormed on how to locate the correct person, and the victim was forced to call the intended target. The victim later alerted law enforcement, leading to the arrest of one of the alleged kidnappers. The other two men have had their initial court appearances, while Gomez has not yet appeared in court.
