A Florida woman, Susan Lorincz, has been arrested and charged with manslaughter with a firearm, culpable negligence, battery, and assault after shooting and killing her neighbor, Ajika Owens, through her front door amid an ongoing dispute over where Lorincz's children were playing. Owens had gone over to confront Lorincz about allegations that she threw a rollerblade skate at one of her kids earlier in the day. Lorincz claimed self-defense, but Sheriff Billy Woods said it was an unjustified shooting and not covered by Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law. The Owens family's attorneys have criticized the law and called for accountability.
