Florida woman charged with fatally shooting neighbor appears in court and faces bond hearing.

Susan Louise Lorincz, a woman accused of shooting and killing Ajike Owens, a Black mother of four, in front of her children during an ongoing feud between neighbors, made her first court appearance. Lorincz was charged with manslaughter with a firearm, culpable negligence, battery, and two counts of assault. According to the sheriff's report, Lorincz made racist threats to Owens' children before the shooting. Prosecutors plan to file a pre-trial detention motion in the case, and Lorincz is being held on no-bond and is represented by a public defender.
