"Georgia Sheriff Resigns and Pleads Guilty to Sexual Battery for Assaulting TV Judge Glenda Hatchett"

Georgia sheriff Kris Coody pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor sexual battery charge and resigned after grabbing TV judge Glenda Hatchett's chest during a reception. Coody was sentenced to 12 months probation, community service, and ordered to pay a fine. Judge Hatchett thanked her attorneys and described the incident, stating that Coody grabbed and squeezed her breast until someone intervened.
