Girlfriend Indicted for Straw Purchasing Guns in Burnsville First Responder Killings

Ashley Dyrdahl, the girlfriend of Shannon Gooden, has been indicted for allegedly purchasing firearms used in the shooting of three first responders in Burnsville. The indictment alleges that Dyrdahl bought five guns for Gooden, a convicted felon, between September 2023 and January 2024, including two AR-15-style weapons used during the standoff. Gooden, who was prohibited from owning guns due to a 2008 conviction, opened fire on first responders during a domestic assault call, firing off more than 100 rounds before dying by suicide. Dyrdahl faces up to 15 years in prison and is accused of conspiring to place firearms in Gooden's hands despite knowing he could not legally own or possess them.
