Heroic Good Samaritan Saves Wounded Houston Cop in Highway Gunfight

A good Samaritan, John Lally, captured on video his heroic act of saving the life of a police officer during a shootout on Highway 59 in Houston. Lally witnessed a police chase turn into a car crash and saw Officer J. Gibson being shot in the leg by a suspect. Lally pulled the wounded officer to safety and stayed with him until other officers arrived. The suspect was later shot by five officers and died from his injuries. The incident is still under investigation.
