Home Depot employee killed while confronting shoplifter in California.

A Home Depot employee in California was fatally shot by an alleged shoplifter armed with a handgun. The suspect and an alleged accomplice were detained after fleeing the scene in a getaway car. The victim, Blake Mohs, was an unarmed loss prevention employee who attempted to stop the theft. The suspects were arrested by Alameda County Sheriff's Office deputies, and the handgun believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered. The suspects face charges including murder, robbery, child endangerment, and conspiracy. Mohs was a Tri-Valley resident who planned to get married this summer.
