Houston Rapper Charged with Kidnapping and Years-Long Captivity of Woman

In Houston, Lee Carter, 52, is charged with aggravated kidnapping for allegedly abducting a pregnant panhandler and holding her captive for nearly five years, during which he sexually assaulted and drugged her to prevent her escape. The victim, who was malnourished and weighed just over 70 lbs when found, managed to contact police using Carter's computer, leading to his arrest.
