Investigation underway for overnight homicide in north St. Louis

Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in north St. Louis that occurred early Monday morning, leaving a man dead. The victim was found unconscious and barely breathing with a gunshot wound to the leg and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Homicide Unit has been activated to investigate the incident.
