Investigation underway into deadly shooting on Clarksville Pike

Homicide detectives in Nashville are investigating a shooting at a convenience store, where a 25-year-old man was killed. Surveillance footage shows the man attempting to rob the store and jumping over the counter, at which point the 20-year-old store clerk grabbed a weapon from his pocket and fired, hitting the robber. Additional shots were fired during the struggle, resulting in the robber's death. The investigation is ongoing, and the case will be reviewed by the district attorney's office.
