Kentucky Officer Shot and Suspect Arraigned

Wesley Cornell, who is accused of shooting at an Olive Hill officer, was arraigned and his bond was set at $1,000,000. He waived his right to a preliminary hearing within 10 days and is scheduled for a hearing on June 27. The officer had a non-life-threatening arm injury and was flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center. Cornell was arrested by a SWAT team and is facing wanton endangerment charges.
