Kidnapped Florida Couple Held for Ransom in Haiti

A Florida couple, Abigail and Jean-Dickens Toussaint, who went to Haiti to visit sick family members, have been kidnapped and are being held for ransom. The kidnappers demanded $6,000, and when the family paid $2,000, the kidnappers changed the deal. The U.S. State Department is aware of the situation and is working with local authorities to find the couple. The First Haitian Baptist Church of Pompano Beach is asking for prayers and urging government officials to use their resources to bring the couple back home.
