Las Vegas Police Make Arrests and Release Photos in High School Beating Case

Las Vegas police have arrested a ninth teenager in connection with the deadly beating of a student near Rancho High School. They are still seeking help in identifying one additional "person of interest" and have released additional photos. Four of the eight teenagers accused in the crime have been charged with second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit battery with substantial bodily harm. They are being charged as adults and will remain in custody until their next court appearance. The other four suspects are awaiting certification to enter the adult court system. The attack occurred during a fight over stolen items, and the victim's cause of death was listed as complications of multiple blunt-force injuries.
