Man accused in deadly F train chokehold arraigned on manslaughter charge.

Daniel Penny, the man accused of putting Jordan Neely in a deadly chokehold, was arraigned on a manslaughter charge in Manhattan Criminal Court. Penny, who faces up to 15 years in prison if found guilty, was ordered to turn over his passports within 48 hours and had bail set at $100,000. Neely's death was ruled a homicide by compression of the neck. Penny's attorneys said he put Neely in a chokehold to "protect himself and his fellow New Yorkers." The case will now go to a grand jury to consider whether to indict Penny on manslaughter or any other charge.
