Manhunt for Ex-Maryland Official Continues Amidst FBI Raids and Lawyer Insights.

FBI agents raided the Florida home of Roy McGrath, former chief of staff to ex-Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, who is currently a wanted fugitive after failing to appear in court for federal corruption charges. McGrath was indicted in 2021 for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from the state, including a fraudulent severance payment of $233,647. He also lied about working while taking multiple vacations and used state funds for personal expenses. McGrath's attorney said he had no reason to believe his client would skip out on court and that his personal safety is a concern. McGrath's wife has been cooperating with authorities since his disappearance.
