Man's remains found at Lake Mead after 23 years

Human remains found on the shoreline of Lake Mead in Nevada have been identified as those of Claude Russell Pensinger, who disappeared in 1998 while fishing. The cause of death has not been determined. Lake Mead has seen a number of sets of human remains discovered as water levels have dropped due to a more than 20-year drought. The Interior Department has warned of "unprecedented water shortages" in the Colorado River Basin.
