Marine Arrested at Camp Pendleton for Alleged Human Trafficking and Rape of Missing 14-Year-Old Girl

A 14-year-old girl who was reported missing from her Spring Valley home last month has been found at Camp Pendleton, and a Marine has been taken into custody in connection with the case. The girl, who had run away before, was located by military police on June 28. The investigation is being handled by the Naval Criminal Investigative Services, with support from the San Diego County Sheriff's Department and the San Diego Human Trafficking Task Force. The girl and her family are being offered counseling and social services to address any trauma or personal issues.
