Mass. Woman Sought in Officer’s Death Believed to Have Died by Suicide

Karen Solomon, a Massachusetts woman who was sought in connection with the death of Worcester police officer Kurt Solomon, is believed to have been found dead Monday in woods days after police issued an arrest warrant; a gun was found near her, and investigators say she died by suicide in what authorities describe as a murder‑suicide. Kurt Solomon’s death occurred at the couple’s Worcester home. Officials say there is no history of domestic abuse, and a wake and funeral are planned for the coming days as the investigation continues. Doorbell footage had shown Solomon in the days leading up to the discovery.
