Michael K. Williams' heroin dealer pleads guilty in his death.

A drug dealer, Irvin Cartagena, has pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute drugs that resulted in the death of actor Michael K. Williams, who died of a fentanyl-laced heroin overdose in September 2021. Cartagena faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison and the possibility of up to 40 years. Prosecutors said Cartagena and his alleged co-conspirators continued to sell fentanyl-laced heroin even after they learned of the actor's death. Williams was known for his roles in "The Wire" and "Boardwalk Empire" and had spoken about his battles with addiction.
