Michigan Man Arrested for Plotting Synagogue Mass Shooting

A 19-year-old Michigan teen with neo-Nazi ideology and antisemitic views was arrested and charged with transmitting a communication containing a threat to injure another. Seann Patrick Pietila had a plan to kill and might have been targeting a synagogue. A search of his home turned up ammunition, guns, a Nazi flag, and military manuals. Pietila admitted to taking part in conversations about committing mass casualty incidents or mass killings but told investigators he did not intend to follow through with the mass killings he had discussed.
