Miraculous Puppy Survives Being Thrown from Car During L.A. Police Chase

A puppy was thrown from a moving vehicle during a police chase in Los Angeles, but was miraculously unharmed and rescued by responding officers. The suspects, who were pursued in connection with an attempted murder and carjacking, were arrested and identified as Gustavo Alvarez, Lynette Moreno, and Michelle Zamudio. The puppy is now in the care of South L.A. Animal Services pending an investigation into the abandonment concern noted during the pursuit.
