Missing Las Vegas man's remains identified 25 years later in Lake Mead

Remains found in Lake Mead have been identified as those of Claude Russell Pensinger, a Las Vegas man who went missing in 1998. Pensinger is the third person to be identified after several sets of remains surfaced in the lake amid a drought that has severely depleted the reservoir. The cause and manner of Pensinger’s death is undetermined, but his boat was found running in circles in the water. Most of the remains are suspected to be accidental deaths, but one case is being investigated as a homicide. The identifications were made using DNA analysis.
