MSU Shooting Update: Gunman's Intoxication and Ammunition Purchase Revealed, Motive Still Unclear

Michigan State University police have found "no conclusive motive" for the Feb. 13 shooting that killed three students and injured five others. The shooter, Anthony McRae, purchased ammunition a few hours before the shooting and had no personal or professional connection to the university. McRae had a history of mental health issues and portrayed himself as a "rejected outcast" in a note found on him at the time of his death. Police found two legally purchased but unregistered handguns on McRae, and he had THC in his system at the time of the shooting.
