Multiple Arrests Made in Connection with Jan. 6 Capitol Attack, Including Assault on Officers

An Indiana man, Troy Koen, has been arrested for allegedly using a Trump flag and Confederate banners to assault officers during the Jan. 6 Capitol attack. Koen is accused of leading a group of rioters in attacking police at the entrance of the Capitol building, using his flagpole to smash through glass doors and jab at officers. He was identified in part through a photo on his social media account. Koen's arrest is one of over 1,200 made in connection with the Capitol riots, with more than 700 federal defendants sentenced so far.
