Multiple Arrests Made in Fatal Shooting of Off-Duty Chicago Police Officer

Four people, potentially juveniles, have been taken into custody in connection with the fatal shooting of Chicago Police Officer Areanah Preston, who was shot and killed in front of her home on Saturday. The suspects have not been charged yet. Community members are asking for the public's help, and a $5,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest. Preston was a 3-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department and was supposed to graduate with a Masters of Jurisprudence from Loyola's School of Law this coming Saturday.
