Multiple Deaths and Suicide Shake Multnomah County: Investigations Underway

Two people were found dead in a home in east Multnomah County, Oregon, and a man who knew the victims later killed himself during a traffic stop. The identities of the victims and their relationship to the shooter have not been disclosed. Deputies responded to the shooting early in the morning and found a dog that had also been shot and killed. Authorities issued a shelter-in-place order and conducted a search for potential victims but found none. The driver of a white Ford utility van, who was known to the victims, led deputies on a chase before shooting himself inside the van. The investigation is ongoing.
