Multiple Fatal Crashes: Passengers and Woman Face Charges in Connection with Tragic Accidents

Noelle Tavares, a survivor of a fiery crash that killed four people, including a Rockport man and three Maine Maritime Academy students, has been charged as an "accomplice or co-conspirator" in connection with the tragedy. Tavares pleaded not guilty to charges including manslaughter, aggravated operating under the influence, and reckless conduct. The driver, Joshua Goncalves-Radding, is accused of driving under the influence and speeding before the crash. Another survivor, Dominick Gecoya, was previously charged but had the charges dismissed. Accomplice liability charges are rare in Maine, but prosecutors believe Tavares facilitated the conduct that led to the crash.
