Multiple Hospital Staff Members Stabbed in Violent Incidents at Newark Medical Facilities

Two nurses and a medical student were stabbed during a domestic dispute involving visitors in the pediatric ICU at Newark Beth Israel Hospital. The suspect became angry when told there were too many visitors and proceeded to attack staff members with a weapon. The victims suffered minor injuries and the suspect has been taken into custody, facing charges of aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon. The incident is under investigation.
