Multiple Injuries in Kansas City Police Shooting During Fentanyl Bust

Three Kansas City, Kansas police officers were seriously injured in an officer-involved shooting during an undercover operation aimed at taking fentanyl off the streets. The officers were trying to purchase fentanyl pills when they tried to stop a vehicle with the suspects from the investigation inside. Once the vehicle stopped and they tried conducting an arrest, gunfire erupted from the suspect vehicle. Three adult male suspects were also injured. All have serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
