Murder at DC Hotel: Woman Stabbed to Death During Concert Visit

A 43-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a 31-year-old woman who was staying at the Ivy City Hotel in Northeast D.C. for a concert. The victim was found with around 30 stab wounds on her body, and the suspect was found in the room with blood and lacerations to his hand. The victim and suspect did not know each other, and the suspect was believed to be homeless. The suspect had two open bench warrants against him during the time of the fatal stabbing, and had a history of violence and non-compliance while on supervision.
