Nashville Police Officers Share Harrowing Account of Responding to School Shooting

Nashville police officers who responded to a deadly school shooting last week are sharing their points of view on the tragedy for the first time. The attack at The Covenant School that killed six people on March 27 "is a day that I will never forget," said Commander Dayton Wheeler of the Midtown Hills police precinct. Police are credited with shooting the suspect, identified as Audrey Hale, 14 minutes after the attack began. Earlier this week, investigators said Hale fired 152 rounds during the attack, which killed three children and three school employees.
