Officer shoots suspect in El Paso gentlemen's club assault.

Two people were taken into custody and facing aggravated assault charges after an assault at a gentlemen's club in east El Paso led to an officer-involved shooting. Witnesses reported hearing someone yelling "shoot me" before gunshots rang out. No one was hit during the shootout, but one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Crimes Against Persons Detectives are investigating the incident.
