Ohio mother charged with murder after leaving toddler home alone for a week.

An Ohio woman has been charged with murder after leaving her 16-month-old daughter alone and unattended for more than a week, resulting in the child's death. The mother, Kristel Candelario, was arrested and appeared in court on Tuesday. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office is conducting a full autopsy, but police did not observe any overt signs of physical trauma. The child had been left alone and unattended for approximately 10 days, during which time she died.
