James and Jennifer Crumbley, parents of a teenager who fatally shot four students at his high school in Michigan, can stand trial for involuntary manslaughter, a court ruled. The court found sufficient evidence to link the couple's alleged gross negligence to their son's actions and denied their motion to quash the manslaughter charges against them. The Crumbleys repeatedly ignored and dismissed their son's pleas for help with his deteriorating mental health, and provided him with a handgun despite having evidence that he contemplated harming others.
