Paramedic Shot During Emergency Call in Lenoir County

A paramedic in Lenoir County, North Carolina was shot while attending a call on Sunday night. The paramedic was trying to get a patient into an ambulance when a suspect slammed into the front of the ambulance and fired a weapon, hitting the paramedic. The paramedic was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. Kinston Police are investigating the case.
