Parents of Kidnapped Son Criticize Twitter's Role in Grooming Incident.

The parents of a Utah teen who was groomed and kidnapped by a man he met on Twitter have criticized the social media platform for not doing enough to prevent child sexual abuse. The parents say Twitter officials dragged their feet in responding to law enforcement requests for information about the man, who was eventually arrested in Nebraska. The boy's parents also blame local police for misspelling the man's Twitter handle in a subpoena. The man has pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping, production of child pornography, travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual contact, and coercion and enticement.
